General Requirements and Qualifications: 

Position Title: Project Engineer
Department:    RINA IndonesiaEnergy HUB  
Location:         Jakarta and occasional travel 
Reports To:     Project Manager and Business Manager

General Accountability: 

The Project Engineer is responsible for following and completes engineering projects as FSRU, FPSO, FSO, pipeline by organizing and controlling engineering various phases. Responsibilities include but not limited to the development, implementation and check of documents consistency.


Responsibilities and Duties: 


⁻    Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
⁻    Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements
⁻    Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
⁻    Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
⁻    Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
⁻    Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
⁻    Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
⁻    Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
⁻    Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
⁻    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
⁻    Assist and support tendering team to acquire new project
⁻    Travel to site, branch and offices as needed

Education and Training:

⁻    Bachelor or higher degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or similar
⁻    At least Five years of industrial experience including
⁻    Experience in the execution of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies
⁻    Experience in the design and implementationof and oil and/or gas plant

Core Competencies:

⁻    Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external
⁻    Strong written and verbal English communication skills
⁻    Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
⁻    Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Position Title: Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for developing scope and design criteria for major mechanical componentsfor various plants for Oil & Gas Project (FSRU, FPSO, FSO, pipeline). Responsibilities include but not limited to the development, implementation and check of documents consistency.


Responsibilities and Duties: 


⁻    Developing scope and design criteria for major mechanical components including: Fuel Systems; Bulk Storage Tanks; Plant room Ventilation; Heat Exchangers; Cooling Systems; Pump Stations; Exhaust Systems and Pipework
⁻    Producing technical drawing, design calculations and data sheets
⁻    Present design and solutions for the selection of materials and components
⁻    Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting researches applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
⁻    Confirms system and product capabilities by performing feasibility studies.
⁻    Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods and evaluating system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
⁻    Prepares product reports and cost estimation by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
⁻    Maintains system and product data base by writing computer programs and entering data.
⁻    Provide specialist technical input/consultancy into team project work
⁻    Prepare and review project proposals, studies and technical reports
⁻    Oversee the cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects
⁻    Assist and support tendering team to acquire new project
⁻    Apply a basic knowledge of safety and environmental issues during the execution of projects
⁻    Travel to laboratories, site, branch and offices as needed

The naval architect is responsible for engineering of floating unit project in oil & gas field (FSRU,LNG Carrier, FPSO, Floating units) and general consultancy to clients of the company in terms of structural, stability and main ship system.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the development, implementation and check of documents consistency..

Responsibilities and Duties: 


⁻    Perform structural and stability analyses and drawings according main classification and statutory standards
⁻    Calculate weight and cost estimates and prepare procedures
⁻    Contact equipment suppliers to verify dimensions and performance specifications.
⁻    Coordinate and elaborate the aspects of naval architecture in terms of the design, planning and development
⁻    Provide guidance, support and act as direct resource to the team undertaking project studies
⁻    Undertake scoping study and evaluations of design alternatives
⁻    Assist in the development of procedures, technical specification, methods, materials handling, manpower requirements
⁻    Review design, management and interpretation of shipbuilding studies
⁻    Critical review of reports prepared by contractors
⁻    Search literature and assimilate information
⁻    Provide specialist technical input/consultancy into team project work
⁻    Prepare and review project proposals, studies and technical reports
⁻    Oversee the cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects
⁻    Assist and support tendering team to acquire new project
⁻    Apply a basic knowledge of safety and environmental issues during the execution of projects

⁻    Provide guidance, support and act as direct resource to the team undertaking project feasibility studies
⁻    Undertake scoping study and evaluations of process alternatives
⁻    Assist in the preparation of costs estimation for process plants
⁻    Assist in the development of processing plans, methods, design, materials handling, manpower requirements
⁻    Review design, management and interpretation of process studies
⁻    Critical review of reports prepared by contractors and laboratories
⁻    Search literature and assimilate information
⁻    Provide specialist technical input/consultancy into team project work
⁻    Prepare and review project proposals, studies and technical reports
⁻    Oversee the cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects
⁻    Assist and support tendering team to acquire new project
⁻    Apply a basic knowledge of safety and environmental issues during the execution of projects
⁻    Travel to laboratories, site, branch and offices as needed

Education and Training:

⁻    Bachelor or higher degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
⁻    At least three years of industrial experience including
⁻    Experience in the execution of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies
⁻    Experience in the design and implementationof and oil and/or gas plant
